Revisit the past, passing through familiar mental spaces. A momentary escape. Remembering is not passive, but an active process that involves imagination. Lying is part of it. But her memory is consolidated with emotions, of that she is sure.

ODE TO SUMMER

Ode to Summer is all about desire. It explores the delicious taboo of female strength, that which triggers the most intimate spots until exploding in pleasure. The protagonist goes through a feeling of uncomfortable and uncertain loneliness, which puts her in a passive perspective, being a witness of her friends. However, there is a sense of audacity, authenticity, a desire for herself that opens to a world of fantasies of becoming the character of her own pleasure that will enable her to share this joy with her close ones.
Oda al verano propone masticar el deseo. Explora los deliciosos tabúes de la fuerza femenina, aquello que provoca en los centros más íntimos, hasta hacer estallar el placer. La protagonista transita una soledad incómoda e incierta que la ubica en el lugar de observadora, pasiva en contraste con sus amigas. Sin embargo, habita en ella esa parte audaz, auténtica, deseosa de sí misma, que se abre paso entre fantasías para volverla protagonista de su placer y así, poder compartir el goce propio con las suyas.

La vida rural nunca fue tan moderna.
Una persona atesora bailes tradicionales que trascienden las generaciones. Alguien anima a su siembra a crecer a través de su canto. Otra asciende en busca de los mejores trofeos. Rituales con la naturaleza como denominador común y su amplificacion dentro del universo de las plataformas virtuales. La mirada ajena en busca de victorias cotidianas.

MAREA is a video art made in the context of the 8M, international strike of women and dissidence, in 2019. It's a record of two simultaneous protests, one in Buenos Aires and the other in Milan. Feminism revolutionized the world and our lives. Despite the fact that appropriation was and is a sign of oppression reproduced for centuries by the different modes of power established, constructed and legitimized; the movement of women and dissent interpellates it every day. We are talking about new forms of power that are anchored in new structural matrices; empathetic, solidary, reciprocal between people and with earth. The 8M, acclaimed as the third international women's strike, was a historical response and a historical necessity.
MAREA es un videoarte realizado en el marco del 8M, paro internacional de mujeres y disidencias, en el 2019. Es un registro de dos manifestaciones simultáneas, una en Buenos Aires y otra en Milán. El feminismo revolucionó al mundo y a nuestras vidas. A pesar de que la apropiación fue y es un signo de opresión reproducido por siglos por los distintos modos de poder establecidos, construidos y legitimados; el movimiento de mujeres y disidencias lo interpela todos los días. Estamos hablando de nuevas formas de poder que anclan en nuevas matrices estructurales; matrices empáticas, solidarias, recíprocas entre personas y con la tierra. El 8M aclamado como tercer paro internacional de mujeres fue una respuesta y una necesidad históricas.

It is a constant unsuccessful search to freeze the past, trying to cover aspects of a multi sectional reality. It's an incomplete Frankenstein of a collective memory. It doesn't have a reflexion or critical thought. It is only a tireless and repetitive attempt to capture the past.
Es una constante búsqueda fallida de congelar el pasado, tratando de cubrir todos los aspectos de una realidad multiseccional. Es un frankestain incompleto de una memoria colectiva. No busca una reflexión, ni tiene un pensamiento crítico. Solo es un intento, incansable y repetitivo, de capturar el pasado.

This art video was produced to honor the great artist Graciela Sacco, one of the most well-known international artists of the Argentinian contemporary art scene. The artist turned light and shadow into her primal core. When we designed the aesthetic and narrative of Operation Contemplation with the we decided to respect those same aesthetic lineages. However, with the incorporation of body, dance, framing and editing, we managed to give spatiality, rhythm and sonorous-musical ambience to this new piece. The hands come out of the walls to point fingers back; the mouths move, sound, breath; the lighters burn; everything changes its state.
Este videoarte fue realizado en homenaje a la artista Graciela Sacco, una de las artistas más reconocidas internacionalmente de la escena argentina del arte contemporáneo, la artista hizo de la luz y la sombra su materia prima. Trabajando en el tratamiento estético y narrativo de Operación Contemplación decidimos respetar esos mismos linajes estéticos. Sin embargo, con la incorporación del cuerpo, la danza, el encuadre y el montaje, logramos darle espacialidad, ritmo y ambiente sonoro-musical a esta nueva pieza. Las manos salen de los muros y vuelven a señalar, las bocas se mueven, suenan, respiran, los fósforos se queman, todo cambia de estado.

Industrial Loop propose a different way to see and think the big production of clothes in China. A famous company that make clothes for USA, Europe and Asia open his door and let spy trough his process. They make 10.000 shirt per day and womens are who manage the industry process, from cutting and sawing to packaging and to the shops. The sounds of the fabric are continues, repetitive and mechanic. All that sounds guides the experience making an industrial symphony.
Industrial Loop propone una mirada original y crítica sobre la superproducción textil en China. Una enorme fábrica que trabaja para famosas marcas de Estados Unidos, Europa y Asia, abre sus puertas y nos permite asomarnos a su proceso. En ella se realizan más de diez mil camisas por día y son las mujeres quienes llevan a cabo todo el proceso de producción: desde el corte y la costura hasta el packaging final. La estructural del film y su diseño sonoro emulan la mecánica de la fábrica y su universo industrial a través de loops, ruidos, y textos repetitivos que conforman una gran sinfonía audiovisual.

In between the permanence and stability of the works there is the mobility of dance and the body drain. Within an agreement between the permanent and the ephemeral, among the camera’s captures, the bodies and the works, IMPERMANENCIA weaves the fabric, captures the forces and sets in motion the gaze.
The dance, as a gesture of liberty, power, resilience, sensuality can bring forth a different gaze, a way of being and trespassing the space and time between the piece and the bodies.
To dance the Museum is to turn visible the (invisible) forces that arouse a course. The instability that looks and erases, slides across the possible/impossible ways.
Entre la permanencia y la estabilidad de las obras, está la movilidad de la danza y los cuerpos en fuga.
En un acuerdo entre lo permanente y lo efímero, entre las capturas de las cámaras, los cuerpos y las obras, IMPERMANENCIA teje su trama, conquista las fuerzas y pone en movimiento la mirada.
La danza como gesto de libertad, potencia, resistencia, sensualidad, puede construir una mirada distinta, una forma de estar y atravesar el espacio y tiempo entre la obra y los cuerpos.
Bailar el Museo es volver visibles las fuerzas invisibles que suscitan un recorrido, la inestabilidad que mira y borra, se desliza por alguno de los posibles/imposibles recorridos.
